Mr. Irfan Hussain was enrolled in M. Phil in Development Studies in Sindh Development Studies Centre, University of Sindh (Main Campus) and have completed Bachelors (Hons) in Rural Development Studies in the same institute.
Mr. Hussain was currently working in FAO ILTS Project Third Party Baseline Study to develop a socio-economic and bio-physical profile of 80 project target villages across 8 District of Sindh Province. He was assigned as a Research Associate and responsible for questionnaire design, provide support in reviewing technical proposal and writing inception report, field enumeration, data entry, analysis and report writing.
Mr. Husain has successfully completed his internship in Sindh Development Studies Centre, University of Sindh, under Prime Minister Youth Training Scheme (National Internship Program - 2017/18). His services include providing support in administrative tasks including invigilation during mid-term and annual exam, assisting director and other teachers in meetings, research work and in delivering lectures, writing expression of interest and provide support in technical proposal.
Mr. Hussain have previously complete internship in Management & Development Centre (MDC) in Program Unit for the duration of six months. His responsibility includes but not limited to support program unit in Writing Expression of Interest, technical proposals, Inception reports, Developing Work Plan, Writing Minutes of Meeting, organizing and facilitating workshops and trainings. He also fulfils general administrative tasks including Printing, Photocopy and supervising other staff Etc
Mr. Hussain also completed Two Months Internship in Thardeep Rural Development Programs (TRDP) in District Jamshoro, Sindh. During this internship he remain involve in conducting site visit for the internal validation of development / deliverables of (TRDP). Writing success stories, Flood Assessment Reports, assist Program Manager in writing Quarterly Report and Project Completing Report. Developing Tentative work plan, follow up visits, coordinating with Field Teams and District Line department and other TRDP Clients.
He is willing to develop skills and abilities in Project Cycle Management Specifically Identification, Planning, Implementation and Monitoring & Evaluation. Developing skills in MEAL of development projects/programs is his priority.
With novice skills, He is consistent, responsible, adoptive to changing circumstances, with understanding disposition and ethical at work.
